SERVICE CALL CENTRE AGENT - JOHANNESBURG - R12000 to R14000 based on experience and qualifications.


We are recruiting two motivated and detail-oriented SERVICE CALL CENTRE AGENTS to join a Catering Supply Company's team in Johannesburg.

The primary responsibilities of this role include handling call centre duties such as logging service calls, opening job cards, generating quotations, and managing administrative tasks related to service operations.

Previous experience in a service environment with job card management is essential, along with strong Excel skills and system use proficiency.

This position requires the ability to thrive in a high-volume and pressurised environment while multitasking effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and log incoming service calls from customers, capturing accurate details and requirements.
  • Open and manage job cards for service requests, ensuring all necessary information is recorded and documented.
  • Generate quotations for service jobs based on established pricing and guidelines.
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to service call volumes, job statuses, and customer inquiries.
  • Liaise with technicians and field service teams to schedule and prioritize job assignments.
  • Provide administrative support to the service department, including data entry, filing, and maintaining documentation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to customer queries and followup on outstanding issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and meet service delivery objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a service call centre or administrative role within a serviceoriented industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas, create spreadsheets, and analyze data.
  • Strong system knowledge and comfort with learning and using new software tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced, highpressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
