- Plan, organize, and supervise prosthetic and orthotic services to ensure safe and quality care to patients.
- Work closely with physicians and other healthcare personnel to provide comprehensive and effective prosthetic and orthotic programs for patients.
- Measure, manufacture, and fit orthotic/prosthetic devices to patients.
- Evaluate appliances delivered to patients for compliance with prescription.
- Perform fittings, including static and dynamic alignments.
- Manufacture orthotics and prosthetics.
- Evaluate and resolve clinical outcomes.
- Maintain patient records as per Medical Center policy.
- Supervise orthotic/prosthetic technicians and other support personnel.
- Bachelor's degree (master's degree is preferable) in Orthotics / Prosthetics.
- Saudi Council Registration as Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist (CPO) Specialist.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an accredited Orthotic and Prosthetic center.
- Pediatric Orthotic I Prosthetic experience is required, minimum of three years.
- Excellent command of written and oral English. Knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
- Must be willing and able to work with multi-cultural and physically handicapped patients.
- Must be able to (move, walk, stoop, stand, bend, sit, push, pull and lift) intermittently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to cope with the mental, emotional, and physical stress of the position.
- Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
