  • Oversight responsibility in respect of the following:
  • The primary function of the Health and Safety Officer title of the position will be to ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health. Further to this, they will also be responsible for ensuring that that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are developed, adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
  • The primary function of the Store Manager title of the position will be to ensure the management of all stock and equipment within the organisation
    Inherent Requirements
  • Grade 12 or higher
  • Valid driver's license
  • Health and Safety Training
  • SAMTRAC or OHSA's.


  • HIRA training

  • Fall Protection Plan Development
  • Incident Investigation

  • 3+ years' experience in a Health and Safety role, in an industry related or similar to Sheet Metal Cladding and Insulation Industry
  • 1 + years' experience in stock management, handling, and control/warehouse experience
  • Proficiency in safety auditing, inspection and identifying hazards.
  • Experience in managing safety in diverse work environments.
  • Experience with working with teams
  • Experience in working with quality management systems
  • Expertise in using and maintaining safety equipment like fire extinguishers, eye protection and hazardous material protection
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
  • Knowledge of relevant HSE legislation (OHSA, NEMA, COIDA), environmental regulations, construction regulations, standards, incident investigations teqniques, risk assessment methodologies
  • Knowledge of Contract conditions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with HSE management systems in an industrial setting
  • Knowledge of emergency response and crisis management
  • Knowledge of store handling procedures
  • Knowledge of stock control
