    Financial Manager Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at {company}. This role is ideal for a professional with expertise in financial leadership and strategic foresight.

    About the Role

    The Financial Manager will be responsible for leading financial operations, reporting, and budgeting processes for the print division. You will provide insights and financial strategies to support business success and align with IFRS standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Financial Reporting & Management
      • Lead financial operations and reporting processes for the print division.
      • Provide guidance and insights to the management team, including the MD and Sales Head.
      • Prepare monthly financial reports, including margin analysis and key variances.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting
      • Oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the division.
      • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop sales and financial budgets.
      • Present budget reports to senior management, ensuring deadlines are met.
    • Compliance, Audits & Governance
      • Ensure financial reporting aligns with IFRS and corporate policies.
      • Coordinate audits, address audit findings, and improve financial processes.
      • Monitor compliance with statutory and company regulations.
    • Asset and Treasury Management
      • Maintain an accurate fixed asset register and ensure compliance with IFRS 16.
      • Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management and payment reviews.
      • Support working capital management to optimize cash flow and inventory.
    • Leadership & ERP System Management
      • Mentor and manage two Management Accountants within the finance team.
      • Provide expertise on ERP systems (Business Central) for financial reporting.
      • Lead ad hoc financial projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

      Requirements:

      • BCompt degree.
      • CA (SA) qualification required.
      • 5-7 years in a financial management role within a medium to large organization.
