Are you passionate about hospitality and ready to lead a team in one of the most picturesque regions in Franschhoek? Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a dedicated Duty Manager to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences at our esteemed client, our Luxury Hotel.

Overview:
As Duty Manager, you'll be instrumental in maintaining guest satisfaction and the efficient functioning of the hotel.

Your Contribution:

Oversee hotel shifts, ensuring smooth operations.
Support the Front Office Manager with reception duties as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of public areas.
Assist guests with property orientation and rooming.
Provide topnotch concierge services, including reservations and transfers.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a coordinated guest experience.
Promptly report and address maintenance issues.
Conduct property site inspections as required.
Complete administrative tasks and reports accurately.
Update property management systems and manage billing processes.
Actively work towards improving guest feedback scores.
Uphold service and quality standards while promoting property services.
Anticipate and respond to guest needs and feedback effectively.
Handle complaints promptly and according to company policy.
Cultivate positive guest relationships and ensure satisfaction.
Participate in training and property meetings.
Adhere to company policies and health and safety standards.
Address misconduct and handle reasonable requests professionally.

Personal Criteria:

Lead by example with a handson and practical approach.
Possess keen observation and attention to detail.
Exhibit strong hosting and communication skills.
Manage workload efficiently with creativity and organization.
Demonstrate energy, passion, and a sense of fun.
Champion training initiatives and possess financial awareness.

Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience in a 5star hotel or similar property.
Solid background in customer service.
Excellent knowledge of wine, food, and beverage.

The Package:

Competitive Monthly Gross Salary: R15, Negotiable based on experience)
Flexible hours based on operational needs.
5% Company Contribution to Provident Fund (Old Mutual).
