POSITION DETAILS
Manage the Restaurant areas and events in order to achieve financial, food and service standards


JOB PURPOSE
as set by the Company. Ensure that staff work there best to ensure a great client experience

  • Own transport required.
years' experience as a Restaurant Manager

  • At least 35 years' experience in budget management
  • Wellorganised with excellent multitasking abilities. Able to manage multiple events simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding vendor management skills
  • Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the restaurant.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Communication Skills: You should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be responsible for communicating with clients, vendors, and staff members, so effective communication is crucial.
  • Customer Service: You should have a customerfocused mindset and the ability to provide excellent customer service. You will need to work closely with clients to understand their needs.
  • Problem-Solving: You should be a creative problem solver who can quickly adapt to unexpected changes and find solutions to challenges that arise.
  • Attention to Detail: You should be highly detailoriented and able to oversee all aspects of the Restaurant, to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
  • Time Management: You should have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to ensure that the Restaurant delivers quality services within budget.
  • Networking: You should have strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and vendors
  • Coordinate bookings against walk in clients and ensure good communication between client, waitrons, and kitchen. Ensures good flow in service.
  • Handle clients' complaints without delay, ensuring effective followup and action plan to avoid reoccurrence of similar issues.
  • Be available to assist with refunds, stock concerns and receipt issues.
  • Check that daily requirements of staff are done by the required time without exception.

Salary:
R14, R18,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Fourways, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Restaurant management: 3 years (preferred)
