    Wastewater Process Lead

    A dynamic and growing water treatment company seeks a Wastewater Process Lead to join its team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage projects related to wastewater treatment.
    • Evaluate engineering processes and treatment strategies based on research and application of existing knowledge.
    • Design process solutions by studying customer requirements.
    • Improve process designs based on operator/engineering feedback regarding existing installations.
    • Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and compiling information and trends.
    • Provide detailed engineering information as required.
    • Oversight and mentorship of junior engineers within their respective roles.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments by attending workshops, reading publications, and participating in professional societies.
    • Contribute to teamwork by communicating design approaches and completing assigned tasks.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Eng) or equivalent in Process Engineering (Chemical Engineering).
    • Masters in Water Quality Engineering will be advantageous.
    • Minimum 4 years' experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry, focusing on wastewater design and implementation.
    • Understanding of water and wastewater treatment products and services offered by the company.
    • General understanding of water and wastewater treatment products and ancillary technologies, products, and methodologies in the industry.
    • Computer literacy in Microsoft Suite and appropriate training in Process Design software.
    • Theoretical and practical understanding of wastewater configuration and treatment strategies, including conventional activated systems.
    • P&ID analysis capability, setting up mass balances for PFDs, process troubleshooting, water and/or wastewater design, project management, quality focus, critical analysis of information, reporting research results, attention to detail, and mentorship ability.
