    Description

    Job Title: HVAC +R Technician

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as an HVAC +R Technician.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation, servicing, and repair of HVAC systems, as well as excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install, service, and repair HVAC systems to ensure top-tier performance and adherence to SHEQ standards
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal system operation
    • Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address potential issues
    • Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 with a relevant trade test
    • OTTC, ACRA, or N-Stream Qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
    • Hands-on experience in chilled water systems, cooling towers, pumps, split units, cold rooms, freezer rooms, VRF/VRV, computer room cooling, packaged units, air handling units, multistage evaporative cooling, and ventilation systems
    • Strong understanding of electrical and control circuits
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Safe Handling of Refrigerant Gases certification
    • Valid Driver's License and own hand tools
    • Smartphone required for work-related communications
    • Police clearance and medical fitness required
    • Willingness to travel
