    Description

    Job Title: Mid-Level Quantity Surveyor

    A unique opportunity has arisen for a young and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to take on full responsibility for all QS functions on a construction site.

    The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that construction projects are financially controlled, costs are minimized, and all QS duties are carried out efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage on-site Quantity Surveying functions for various construction projects.
    • Oversee financial planning, control, and reporting to ensure projects stay within budget.
    • Handle the appointment of subcontractors and ensure their work complies with contract terms.
    • Manage material procurement and ensure proper inventory control.
    • Ensure all administrative tasks related to QS functions are completed accurately and on time.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying or BTech Quantity Surveying qualification.
    • A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a contracting environment.
    • Previous experience in commercial, residential, or retail construction with a contractor.
    • CCS experience is advantageous.

    Salary and Benefits:

    • Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
