Office Manager

INTRODUCTION:

An exciting opportunity has become available within the Enterprise Development industry, for an Office Manager. The position is based in Sandton, Johannesburg.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Secretarial or any relevant qualifications
  • 5 years' experience with Office Management experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Human Resources**:


  • Maintain employee records, ensuring they are uptodate and confidential.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee queries related to HR matters.
  • Coordinate training and development programs.
  • Manage employee performance review processes.

Finance:


  • Oversee daytoday financial operations working jointly with our bookkeepers, including invoicing, budget tracking, and expense management.
  • Coordinate the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable.
  • Liaise with external auditors, accountants, and financial institutions as required.

Office & Business Administration**:


  • Ensure efficient office operations through the management of office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Coordinate office maintenance and repair work.
  • Manage contracts and price negotiations with office vendors and service providers.
  • Organize company events, meetings, and employee team building activities.
  • Provide general support to visitors.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems.
  • General administration: assist with preparation of documents for signing, company documentation, proofreading proposals, and business documents.
  • General Secretarial duties
