    Description

    Civil Structural Engineer

    A challenging role for a skilled Civil Structural Engineer to work in an expanding engineering team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Undertake structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, steel and aluminium structures ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
    • Prepare comprehensive engineering reports including detailed drawings and specifications for sign-off by senior engineers.
    • Compile and disseminate complete engineering packs to stakeholders which may include:
      • Detailed design report outlining methodology and calculations
      • Loading analysis to determine structure stability
      • Structural calculations to ensure safety and performance
      • Construction drawings for on-site implementation
      • Approvals from module manufacturers and external PrEng sign-off documents
    • Collaborate with client engineers to obtain approval on design works and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
    • Meet with suppliers to discuss project timelines and limitations.
    • Attend site meetings to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
    • Pursue new product development and enhance existing products through continuous improvement.
    • Contribute to the development of improved design and engineering control processes to drive efficiency and quality.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering
    • Proficient in Prokon and CAD software
    • Previous experience in similar roles advantageous
