Description

Hire Resolve's client is currently looking for a Senior Surveyor to join their mining team based in the Western Cape. As a Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to provide accurate measurements and data for the mine.

Responsibilities

• Operate survey equipment for accurate measurements
• Map work area within mining parameters and plan according to mining plan
• Conduct surveys as planned, report results promptly, and recommend corrective actions
• Communicate with client representatives to establish professional relationships
• Ensure survey activities comply with Safety and Quality standards
• Implement quality control systems for layout delivery
• Schedule resources for survey work output plans
• Review mine surveying practices and mining operations continuously
• Compile and present production survey reports to management
• Perform daily measurements and reporting as per contract and managerial instructions
• Negotiate with client to agree on final monthly survey report for certificate purposes

Requirements

• Grade 12
• National Diploma in Mine Surveying or related field.
• Legal Knowledge - Mine Surveyors GCC
• Management Development Programme (MDP)
• 7 years' experience in surveying, in the mining industry.
• Registered as a member with IMMSSA and/or SAGC
