Our client, one of Africa's leading suppliers of Audiology based in Pretoria are looking to recruit a
Medical Sales Representative.



Duties and responsibilities

  • Writing of proposals, quotations, and tenders.
  • Follow up with clients for feedback on submitted proposals and tenders.
  • Research new business leads in this domain and other market research.
  • Conduct frequent visits to current and prospective clients within a regularly scheduled call cycle.
  • Perform costbenefit and needs analysis of existing/potential clients to meet their needs.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Keeping accurate records of sales activities

Requirements (Knowledge, skills, and abilities)

  • Customer focus willingness to respond to the needs of customers.
  • Understanding of consultative selling strategies.
  • Strong medical background.
  • Knowledge of radiology, modalities, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Excellent problem solving, negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Result driven willingness to respond to the needs of customers.
  • Effective time management.


  • Business Acumen

  • The ability to identify business opportunities and successful manage commercial risks.
  • Valid Drivers' license.
  • Own reliable vehicle, and ability to travel.
  • After hours work may be required.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Marketing Degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office
- + 2 Years Medical Sales Experience

  • Experience in writing quotations and proposals
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both oral and written and the ability to communicate effectively with members of varying professionals
