    Description

    **Job Title:** Head, Business Solutions and Recoveries

    **Business Segment:** Business & Commercial Banking

    We are seeking a seasoned leader to lead and drive robust end-to-end Business Solutions and Recoveries (BS&R) services for distressed credit management within a dedicated sector and segment in South Africa. The successful candidate will provide necessary leadership and specialist advice in the restructuring of distressed exposures, and the recovery of defaulted exposures in terms of the BS&R mandate and in the context of segment portfolio matters.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 10 years or more in functional leadership, with experience in Credit/Risk Management, deal structuring within an investment banking environment, and specific segment experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and drive Business Solutions and Recoveries (BS&R) services
    • Provide leadership and specialist advice in the restructuring of distressed exposures
    • Recover defaulted exposures in terms of the BS&R mandate
    • Act as subject matter expert to Africa Regions countries for domain reporting
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve credit delivery, debt consolidation, and recoveries

    Requirements:

    • Postgraduate degree in Business Commerce or Legal
    • More than 10 years of experience in Credit Risk – BCB, Risk & Corporate Affairs
    • Proven financial capability and knowledge of Credit, Business and Commercial Banking, and Corporate and Investment Banking
