  • Summary of role: _The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and increasing productivity with innovative and efficient methods within the Paint department. Monitoring employees and organising workflows.

Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare a complete production plan within the Paint Department.

Optimise capacity planning and processes.
Organise, monitor and control staff, shift allocations and overtime.

Act proactively by identifying, solving and/or reporting unforeseen challenges within department.

Maintain production targets by ensuring that the required products are delivered daily.

Monitor, control and ensure completion of all daily tasks.

Supervise the department store and all materials involved.

Supervise and report on safety, production, quality and manpower.

Create and ensure safe working conditions at all times.

Maintain discipline and adherence to company policies.

Ensure general neatness and organisation of the department.


Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric (essential)Relevant tertiary qualification (Production or Industrial Engineering) (essential)

3-5 years experience in a production environment

3-5 years experience in paint department

3-5 years experience in manufacturing

2 years experience in a supervisory position


Computer Literacy:
MS Office (essential)

ERP systems knowledge


Job Types:

  • Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
