    Description

    As a First Line Support Engineer at {company}, you will be responsible for capturing customer requests from various inbound sources into our Call Management System. Your goal is to achieve the highest possible First Call Resolution rate, defined per customer.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Analyzing reported faults and completing detailed diagnostics to resolve issues telephonically or via remote support applications.
    • Ensuring correct business practices and fixes are used to resolve faults.
    • Documenting resolutions and fixes for future reference.
    • Providing professional and efficient communication between the business and customers.

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • Matric plus MCSE Certificate.
    • Vendor Accredited Platform certification (Microsoft and Citrix).
    • Previous desktop support experience and IT Service Desk experience.
    • Excellent data capture and typing skills.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

    Please note that previous experience with a Service Desk Application and understanding of Software, Application, and Infrastructure components in an IT environment is highly desirable.
