Description

Receptionist Responsibilities:


  • Welcoming clients and visitors and directing them appropriately in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answering and screening of switchboard calls and routing all incoming calls
  • Scheduling appointments and calendars.
  • Assisting in communicating with logístical suppliers and deliveries such as couriers and shipping companies incl: waybills, delivery notes, tracking, etc.
  • Make neat and relevant notes from customer and supplier interactions.
  • Helping maintain workplace and inventory of kitchen and office supplies.
  • Preparing meeting and training rooms incl. Tea/coffee and refreshment orders for management & visitors.
Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks

  • Communicating with service providersOperate standard office equipment on a regular basis,
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Ad hoc tasks when required.

Receptionist Requirements:


  • Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field.
  • Consistent, professional dress, and manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Switchboard knowledge
  • Good time management & multitasking skills.
Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.

  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
  • Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Demonstrating a positive attitude and cando approach to the role, company and colleagues
  • Selfmotivated, required to get on with daily responsibilities with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to meet agreed timeframes and to communicate progress reports or delays timeously
  • Strong timemanagement skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once
  • A good sense of humor & teamwork.

Salary:
From R10 000,00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 2 years (preferred)
