My client, a reputable law firm has a vacancy for a Projects Attorney.The role will be based in the Projects and Finance Team. The team primarily focuses on energy sector projects, with a particular emphasis on project agreements such as power purchase agreements, construction contracts, and operation and maintenance agreements
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrating exceptional technical legal skills
- Supervising and mentoring associates and junior lawyers within the team Leading and managing transactions
- Cultivating longterm relationships with existing clients and pursuing new opportunities
- Collaborating effectively with an international team
- Engaging in highprofile projects and crossborder transactions on a global scale Contributing to epublications and external publications by addressing topical issues and market developments
- Actively participating in business development campaigns, the creation of innovative products, and pitching for new work
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years + PQE (Non negotiable)
- Previous experience in a reputable law firm with a focus on energy and/or infrastructure practice (Non negotiable)
- Exposure to project development transactions from commercial and/or finance perspectives
- Proven track record of taking a leading role in key transactions, demonstrating initiative, and assuming responsibility for client service and team management
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong relationships with colleagues Strong technical skills and sound commercial judgment
- Openness to diverse working methods, including strong project management abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills essential for clientfacing engagements
- Experience in business development activities, such as presenting seminars or training sessions to external parties
