BOOKKEEPER
Bookkeeper (Sectional Title Managing Agent) based in Somerset West.

Propensure Property Management is a dynamic company seeking the service of a bookkeeper. We pride ourselves in providing outstanding service with our clients and service providers.

The position will provide an accounting service for sectional title developments using WeconnectU management and accounting platform.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Matric Certificate.
  • Bookkeeping diploma or other appropriate tertiary education.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years' bookkeeping experience.


  • Database systems knowledge

  • WeconnectU advantageous.
  • Sectional Title knowledge and experience advantageous.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel).
- eFiling advantageous.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Property Portfolio:


  • Responsible for bookkeeping up to trial balance including, but not limited to preparation of bank reconciliation, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax filing.
  • Financial management of the sectional title portfolio.
  • System processing of invoices and financial reconciliations of payments received.
  • Interpreting and analysis of trial balance.
  • Cashbook reconciliations.

Administration:


  • Managing levy clearance workflow.
  • Setting up body corporate Annual General Meetings.
  • Statutory compliance.
  • Liaising with various stakeholders, clients, suppliers and staff.
  • Assisting with communication, including producing reports and letters.
  • Maintaining an organised electronic filing system.
  • Document procedures, processes, and policies.
  • Annual renewal of buildings insurance.

Pay:
R15 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
