    The ideal candidate for this role is expected to be proactive in managing opportunities that add significant value to the organization. They should be adept at implementing a range of initiatives, from small to medium scale, across various divisions while collaborating effectively with Business Owners. A strong emphasis is placed on fostering an environment that is conducive to continuous improvement. This includes integrating project management principles into daily workflows to enhance efficiency and outcomes. Additionally, the candidate must possess robust report writing skills, complemented by a solid background in data analysis, enabling them to interpret and present data in a meaningful way that supports decision-making processes.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Communication: Present findings and highlight actionable insights.
    • Data-Driven Storytelling: Crafting compelling narratives based on data to inform stakeholders.
    • Report Creation and Enhancement: Developing and improving reports to better meet the informational needs of the organization.
    • Research and analyse queries by consulting with different stakeholders across Nedbank to deliver timeous and accurate resolutions.
    • Create, maintain and coordinate the team effectiveness and disciplines through collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Minimize risk and enhance stakeholder satisfaction by developing embedded reporting processes and ensuring they are aligned with Nedbank standards.
    • Contribute to the achievement of Nedbank goals and objectives.
    • Motivate staff to perform and contribute to the success of the business by creating an environment of teamwork through engaging with staff (sharing information) and encouraging participation in decision making processes.
    • Stay abreast in field of expertise and deliver on the expectations from stakeholders by building capability of self-mastery through identifying current and future training and development needs.
    • Collaborative generation of innovative ideas and knowledge sharing.
    • Provide expert level guidance to software project team in terms of process, system, tools, methods as well as communication, integration, and successful team dynamics through weekly facilitation sessions.
    • Build professional relationships though engagement and regular communication and feedback with all stakeholders using quality metrics and project status reports as drivers.
    • Ensure traceability of defined benefits throughout lifecycle of the project and escalate any deviations.
    • Ensure management of scope.
    • Manage delivery of project against agreed schedule.
    • Manage the stakeholders by ensuring an understanding of the behaviors and operations and by defining strategies in project schedule.
    • Keep clients and management informed.
    • Ensure satisfactory post implementation review and performing retrospectives/inspect & adapt sessions as required.

    Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

    • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
    • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

    Preferred Qualification

    • Degree in Project Management/ Business Management or Data Science
