    Finance Manager Opportunity

    We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Finance Manager to lead our operational finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic professional with strong technical accounting skills, strategic financial planning capabilities, and a results-driven mindset.

    Responsibilities:

    • Financial Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely management of financial activities.
    • Financial Reporting: Prepare and produce monthly financial reports, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for business improvement.
    • Financial Analysis: Analyze and interpret financial information, identifying trends and areas for cost reduction.
    • Budget Preparation and Cost Management: Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective cost control and optimization.
    • Cash Management: Oversee cash management processes, ensuring liquidity and minimizing risk.
    • Year-End Audit: Coordinate the annual financial year-end audit process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
    • Tax and Statutory Reporting: Prepare VAT, Tax, and statutory reporting requirements, ensuring timely submission.
    • Asset Management: Manage and oversee asset management processes, ensuring optimal utilization and maintenance.
    • Financial Policies and Procedures: Review, update, and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
    • Insurance Administration: Oversee insurance administration, ensuring adequate coverage and minimal risk.
    • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.

    Requirements:

    • Qualifications: CA (SA) or CIMA qualification advantageous; B.Com (Hons) Accounting or equivalent with completed articles minimum.
    • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a financial management role, with a proven track record of managing a team of at least 3-4 members.
    • Skills: Proficient in accounting software; advanced MS Office and MS Excel skills (non-negotiable).
