    Key Outputs

    • Work closely with Sales Operations Managers to pursue Direct sales targets as defined by the Group Sales Manager.
    • Deliver accurate data and reporting for the Global Direct Sales team through daily auditing and integrity of Enquiry and Guest Source data, as well as other reports.
    • Evaluate and update CRM database for accurate information pertaining to the Global Direct Sales team.
    • Enhance, streamline and simplify day-to-day operations of the Team.
    • Coordinate, drive, monitor and manage Live Chat platform.
    • Accurately delegate Live Chat offline messages, web and/or other enquiries in accordance with documented processes, including daily reconciliation to CRM system; and daily reporting.
    • Delegation of weekend Live Chat offline messages, web and/or other enquiries may be required from time to time.
    • Set up and coordinate Travel Specialist training sessions, as well as calendar updating, minute-taking and handling of action items.
    • Minute actions arising out of Travel Specialist Working Committee meetings, as well as updating previous minutes and agenda preparation.
    • Support and assist Travel Specialists with maintenance and management of digital profiles and social media platforms (Blogs, Facebook, Instagram and Google my business).
    • Support and assist Travel Specialists with WETU.
    • Troubleshoot and assist Travel Specialists with GIS processes, working with IT, Reservations and the Sales team to improve guest experience, as well as internal efficiencies.
    • Assist with testing of new processes or systems in conjunction with the Sales Operations Managers - Direct.
    • Maintain Direct Sales BOPS/processes as approved by the Group Sales Manager - Direct.
    • Share continuous feedback and information with the Group Sales Manager to ensure alignment of process, sales methodology, reporting development across Teams.
    • Assist with setting up annual Direct Indaba and/or workshops, including logistical coordination of flights and accommodation, communication, general administration, minute-taking of actions and any other assistance required.
    • Handle all incoming emails accurately, timeously and efficiently to support Travel Specialists, Sales Operations Managers - Direct and Group Sales Manager.
    • Maintain various mailboxes as stipulated from time to time.
    • Drive, action, track and complete all allocated projects received from Group Sales Manager based on deadlines provided.
    • Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all &Beyond employees.
    • Ensure brand compliance of all 'team' interactions.
    • Cultivate close working relationship with Reservations, Marketing, Product, IT, Finance, Sales, South Asia Regional office and South America Regional office.
    • Set examples for the Direct Sales Teams in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational skills and work habits.
    • Actively participate in devolvement of self, team and company through Performance, Development and Training.

    Required Skills

    • Understanding of Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Trip Advisor)
    • Understanding of E-Commerce systems (Booking platforms e.g. Take a lot)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
    • Understanding of Availability and Web Reporting Systems
    • Familiarity with GIS, WETU, Maximizer, Tourplan and ESS is advantageous
    • Understanding of data and analysis done

      Qualifications and Experience Required

      • Travel and Tourism Diploma
      • Sales experience is advantageous

      YES4YOUTH CRITERIA

      • Must be a South African Citizen
      • Must be 27 years old or younger before 01 May 2025
      • Must have Matric or a higher qualification
      • Must not have been apart of a Y4Y programme previously
