    Manager for NSO Business Strategies

    The Manager for the NSO Business Strategies has the responsibility for implementing business strategies across the Sub-Saharan and North African region, overseeing various brands, and managing overarching projects and business opportunities.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Develop and implement business strategies to support NSO business requirements in line with Group strategies, across all Brands and the Dealer Organization within the SSA/Africa and North Africa region.
    2. Collaborate with HQ of BGC (Brand Group Core in Europe), Group strategy departments in Wolfsburg, and Board members SA as well as division heads of each core topic to determine activities and KPIs for each.
    3. Manage the coordination, tracking, reporting, and follow-up of all NSO projects, ensuring timely and financial targets are met.
    4. Focus on the SSA pillar, supporting SSA Market heads in developing strategies, such as corporate strategy, future business development, group brand expansion, and BoM communication.
    5. Develop implementation plans and strategies to enhance the geographical footprint for Group brands in all countries of Africa, working with the SSA team and NSO Director, and present to the board on these topics.
    6. Assess the business viability of new business opportunities for the NSO, including introducing additional revenue streams and government relations.
    7. Continuously monitor the market environment and develop research studies and market intelligence reports to support decision-making on crucial strategic topics.
    8. Monitor and track strategic initiatives as agreed by the Board of Management.
    9. Develop business cases with full market and financial assessments.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    1. A recognized degree or national diploma in Business Management or process/industrial engineering.
    2. Experience in a consulting firm is essential.
    3. Qualifications in Project Management, Business Management, and/or Business Process Reengineering MBA would be advantageous.
    4. A minimum of 5 years of management experience.
    5. Proven track record in developing and implementing projects and strategies.
    6. Business case preparation, analysis, stakeholder management, and Board-level communication.
    7. Task leadership experience.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Ability to think strategically and integrate business requirements, processes, and technology.
    2. Capable of leading and managing cross-divisional functions and teams at all levels in the organization.
    3. Team management and interpersonal skills.
    4. Evaluation of project costs and benefits.
    5. International experience is an advantage.
    6. Proven track record with sound decision-making ability.
    7. Ability to plan, execute, and make decisions on strategic projects and initiatives according to approved KPIs.
    8. Excellent attention to detail.
    9. Good communication skills regarding project reporting, problem escalation, and resolution.
