Role purpose:


Your responsibilities will include:

Monitor, supports and maintains the F5 network to ensure its day-to-day stability and availability.
Identify current F5 network risks and implement innovative solutions to reduce them
Provide support to internal infrastructure teams during fault-finding and trouble shooting.
Provide research and assessment of new technologies as well as customer needs.
Provide Architectural Guidance
Development and maintain all documentation relating to architecture, configurations, interfaces, and reports.
Proactively improve infrastructure, reducing operational costs and complexities

Matric
Relevant Degree/diploma
F5 Certified Administrator / Technical professional advantageous
3-5 years working experience in the Information Technology industry supporting F5 Technologies
Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
Strong communication skills in English, verbal and written
Knowledge of Cloud Networking Technologies
Strong understanding of Firewall and Load Balancing technologies
Strong Understanding of Cisco Security Technologies


Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in design, architecture and maintaining an organizations F5 Enterprise network infrastructure.
Proficiency in TCL (Tool Code language) and Python programming languages.
Extensive knowledge in supporting and managing a global network (WAN & LAN).
Extensive knowledge and hands on experience of Layer2 and Layer3 networks, high availability, redundancy, and interoperability between different vendors.
Excellent networking knowledge in product suites available from vendors like F5, Cisco.
