    Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Professional with Expertise to join our team in the theatre department. As a Clinical Specialist Practitioner, you will provide advanced nursing care to patients and work closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve high-quality patient outcomes.

    You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in areas such as clinical governance, quality improvement, and mentorship.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide advanced nursing care to patients in the theatre department
    • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve high-quality patient outcomes
    • Develop your skills and expertise in areas such as clinical governance, quality improvement, and mentorship
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
    • Act as a mentor to junior staff members and provide guidance and support as needed
    • Contribute to research projects and publications
    • Prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively to meet deadlines

    Requirements

    • Post-basic qualification in the area of specialty or evidence of competent experience
    • 2 years' experience in Theatre is essential
    • Critical eye, improvement (areas of improvement) and action plans including involvement in Quality improvement processes
    • Experience in basic Ward administration
    • Ability to apply critical nursing skills and judgment across a range of variable situations
    • Able to anticipate problems and influence, motivate, develop and lead a team
    • Strong mentorship skills
    • Ability to contribute to and utilize research
    • Willingness to teach and participate in teaching and sharing knowledge and skills
