Job Description

·The Systems Analyst must ensure thatall system designs are aligned with business objectives, and requirements and ensurethat requirements are accurate and complete.

·Also, must ensure quality delivery,optimum performance and stability of systems and ensure ideal integration ofnew and existing systems to the broader IT environment.

·Investigates and analyses businessproblems to understand their nature, cause, effects, and drivers, using a varietyof methods and techniques.

·Documenting business processrequirements through interviews or facilitation sessions.

·Conducting engagements with keyrole-players within the various departments to further understand their businessprocesses, needs and challenges.

·Analyze existing business processes& technology and propose new developments and changes based on businessrequirements.

·Develop functional and technicalspecifications to meet the business needs of clients.

·Conduct system analysis for new andexisting systems.

·Construct programs including coding,testing, and debugging.

·Preparing business cases andconducting risk assessments.

·Conducting playbacksessions(presentations) with the Business to ensure that the informationextracted from the business documents and through the interview process isaccurate and complete.

Requirements

·Tertiary qualification in ComputerScience and/or Software Engineering and/or Information Systems and/orInformation Technology and/or related technical certification in businesssystems analysis.

·Minimum of 5 years' experience as aSystems Analyst.

·A good understanding of the SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycle (SDLC)

·Good understanding of systems andsoftware development processes.

·Good written and verbal communicationskills.

·Integration documentation

·Experience in systems analysis outputdocumentation
