We are looking for a competent Receptionist to join our Evergreen Lifestyle Village team at the Val de Vie Estate in Paarl, South Africa's most secure luxury lifestyle estate.

REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

Daily reception duties (i.e. switchboard, taking messages, filing, setting up meetings or tours, etc.);
Receiving residents, prospective purchasers, suppliers and visitors;
Keeping all lists updated (i.e. telephone, speed dial, emergency no.'s, landscaping allocation, pets, access registers, attendance registers, etc.);
Cashups / Banking
Knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook & Internet Explorer
Oral and written communications skills.
Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable;
Call persons waiting for visitor and book them a room to meet in;
Coordinate General workers;
Assist Village Manager with timesheets for staff;
Give visitors badges and direct them to where they can sign in;
Assist Security and Contractors;
Collect and distribute parcels and other mail;
Prepare Electricity vouchers;
Take and relay messages;
Update appointment calendars for Agents, and arrange keys and viewings for agents.
Assist the restaurant in serving food and alcoholic/nonalcoholic drinks.
