    Junior Duty Manager Job Description

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Duty Manager to join our team at one of the top hotels in Cape Town. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations, managing guest inquiries and requests, supervising staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of service.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily hotel operations, including Front Office and Food and Beverage departments
    • Manage guest inquiries and requests, resolving any issues that may arise during the guest's stay
    • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure exceptional customer service and high standards of performance
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operational execution

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Formal qualification in Hospitality advantageous
    • Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in both Rooms and F&B
    • Working knowledge of Opera & Micros systems
    • International experience beneficial

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to work well in a team environment

    Competencies

    • Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
    • Valid driver's license essential
