Valor Hospitality Partners is recruiting for one of our hotel clients based in Cape Town, CBD

Detail:
We are looking for detail-oriented, experienced hotel reservations agent to assist our customers with their booking needs.

To be successful as a Reservation Agent you must be able to work with mínimal supervision and have excellent customer service skills.

Additionally, you should be able to up-sell and have excellent knowledge of deals and savings available to customers.

Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
Checking the availability of accommodation or transportation on the customers' desired travel dates.
Processing payments and sending confirmation details to customers.
Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
Selling and promoting reservation services.
Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process.
Upselling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services.
Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.
Print arrival reports for front office.

Reservation Agent Requirements:

Matric or equivalent qualifications
Experience working in the reservations department, in hotels with 100 rooms plus.
Semper or any other reservations booking systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Multitasking and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Proficient in microsoft office suite.
Data entry experience.
Willing to work allocated shifts.

Salary:
Salary - R R12500

Hours - 7am-4pm - 9am-6pm, 2 weekends off a month
