    Description

    We are seeking a Retail Finance Analyst I to join our team at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town. The successful candidate will report directly to the Retail Finance Manager I.

    Job Purpose:

    To provide commercial finance support to the business, encompassing financial planning and reporting, master data management and business acumen.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver insightful monthly reporting, including exception reporting and commentary
    • Prepare monthly journals, including General Ledger account review
    • Analyze and review monthly reconciliation reports
    • Conduct profitability and value-add analysis
    • Provide decision support through report building
    • Produce weekly scorecard reports
    • Conduct JSE internal control testing
    • Manage master data
    • Create and manage purchase orders and capital expenditure
    • Perform feasibility master data management and uploads
    • Maintain stakeholder relationships and engagement

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Commerce degree
    • At least 2 years' experience in a commercial finance environment
    • Retail industry experience is desirable
    • Advanced Excel skills are essential
