Our travel and events lifestyle agency is seeking a Communication and Event intern.The communication and event intern will collaborate closely with our team to create and carry out strategic communication campaigns that are in line with the objectives of our business.
Additionally, this person will assist in the planning, execution, and marketing of group travel arrangements and activities that relate to our agency's mission, goals, and objectives.
In addition to promoting our events and tour schedule, the employee will work as a liaison between the agency and our clients.
Because of the fast-paced nature of the retail industry, this role must quickly adapt as consumer demands change. Communication duties will be given to the person in this role.In a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, the employee in this job will need to be able to work well and adapt to change.
The individual will collaborate with our internal divisions, such as travel, event planning, online gift store/s, hospitality staffing solutions, media, and marketing, on the management and fulfillment of strategy, communication, and implementation strategies.
Assigned communication and marketing projects will benefit from the employee's development and implementation. The person will assist with new and continuing retail campaigns and events as instructed by agency management. According to changing demands, management may alter daily tasks and responsibilities. Assist with research where required. Assist with writing, editing and preparing articles. Assist on developing flyers and internal creative materials where required.- Relevant tertiary qualification in Communications or any relevant qualification.
