The purpose of the job:


Experience and Skills:

***- Have matric/Grade 1- A tertiary education qualification in office administration, secretarial or a marketing related field (i.e., a relevant diploma would be advantageous).

  • Have a minimum of 25 years experience in office administration and/or marketing administration related positions.
  • Have good communication skills, oral and written, which demonstrates a professional, customerfocused approach to completing assignments and representing the Company.
  • Understand and follow Company policies and procedures.
  • Takes initiative by using modern day apps.
  • Can work independently with minimum supervision but also able to work in a team environment.
  • Have excellent organisational skills, diplomacy, honesty, integrity and maintain a high level of confidentiality in sensitive matters and display excellent judgment.
  • Be proficient in MS Office 365 and Outlook.
  • Work under pressure and deadline driven.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, organised and efficient.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with all administrative duties, e.g., updating of staff CVs/resumes, project profiles & project experience listings, Proman reports and business cards.
  • Preparation of supporting information for tenders, supplier databases, surveys, questionnaires.
  • Assisting with promotional campaigns including conferences, marketing events and promotional material in support of the Company and Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
  • Source new corporate clothing.
  • Facilitate the distribution of promotional items/clothing to clients and SBUs.
  • Assist with general administration and assisting with all miscellaneous jobs, (filing, stock take and maintaining of the marketing storeroom, etc).
