Description

Our client is the industry leader in providing optometric web marketing services to American and Canadian optometrists.

We employ a global team of Web Development, SEO, Social Media, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support experts who conduct day-to-day digital marketing for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Manage financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Oversee the company's financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations in the international markets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute the company's financial strategy.
Manage and mentor a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and auditors.
Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive growth and revenue.
Utilize sales forecasting techniques to inform business decisions and improve financial performance.
Manage software development capitalization processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and tax regulations.
Work with software development teams to identify and capitalize on software development costs.
Perform ongoing analyses of capitalized software assets and associated amortization schedules.
Advise senior management on the financial implications of software development and capitalization.
Build and maintain a system for measuring ROI per employee.
Keep up-to-date with International financial regulations to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Job requirements
Must be able to work 15:00 -23:00 South African time, Mon-Friday.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record of success.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven experience in digital marketing and sales forecasting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team effectively.
Experience with software development capitalization processes and GAAP compliance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Knowledge of International financial regulations.
