    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled IT professional to support our global 24/7 Microsoft-based infrastructure across multiple datacentres. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the uptime and security of critical systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Operational Support: Working in an Operations Centre, part of a team running a 24/7 shift pattern, reviewing Monitoring and Alerting systems constantly and prioritizing and escalating issues quickly and proactively.
    2. Issue Resolution: Solving issues where possible, escalating and communicating issues to 2nd line support or 3rd party organisations when necessary, with a goal of zero downtime across critical systems.
    3. System Maintenance: Performing updates, installations, and changes to systems, maintaining security of systems and customer data, and raising any issues as soon as they occur.
    4. Customer Support: Prioritizing and troubleshooting support tickets and requests from customers during times when other IT teams are not working, delivering prompt and professional customer service.
    5. Documentation: Producing and maintaining documentation on process and systems as required, contributing to post-incident or post-project reviews/retrospectives.
    6. Knowledge Sharing: Learning about the systems in the platform, the environments, and technologies, assisting the rest of the team and other IT teams with support and projects where needed.
