    About the Role

    We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Mechanic to join our team at Netcare Parklands Hospital. As an Apprentice Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical duties under the supervision of a qualified artisan.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Assisting with mechanical and electrical duties as delegated by the Technical Manager or Supervisor
    • Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
    • Developing skills and knowledge in mechanical and electrical engineering through theoretical studies and on-the-job training

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 National Senior Certificate
    • Completed N6 Theoretical subjects in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering at a recognized TVET College within South Africa
    • Workplace experience required to obtain qualification / Diploma / Trade Test
    • Learner must be unemployed to qualify for this opportunity
    • Learner must complete the full 18 months workplace programme
