Description

Main purpose / objective of the position:
Manage supplier contracts in accordance with the relevant procurement policies,
processes and standards, as well as client requirements and also manage strategic
and operational vendors according to the vendor management framework. Coordinate
Strategic procurement by facilitating Group Tenders, assisting with cost
management. Manage and develop enhancements for all operating systems within
the procurement framework


Decision making authority:

Decisions are based on knowledge of theory and systems. Workers have to choose
the appropriate routine from a limited array of routines or rules at their disposal.
They work within rules or standards laid down.


Experience / Education:

Grade 12 or equivalent. Tertiary qualification in supply chain management / Contract
Management. 5 years experience in supply chain and contract management within
the property services industry.


Skills required:

General Administrative skills; computer literacy (MS Office, SAP); Basic numeracy
skills; People management skills; Communication skills (written and oral).


Knowledge required:

Relevant company policies and procedures. Commercial contract management in
supply chain. Relevant commercial contract legislation, policies, procedures and
processes.


Competencies required:

Methodical; Problem solving & Decision Making, Customer & Quality focus;
Teamwork & co-operation; Communication


Major drivers of work volume:

Total procurement spend; number of requests; number of projects
