JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Preferable grade 12 Certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years experience preferably in a 5* Hotel.
- Well spoken, written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate (Ms Office, Opera).
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Customer service attitude.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: - Perform all front of house duties – meeting, greeting and attending to all needs of the guest.
- Assist with managing the switchboard.
- Ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out.
- Take all guest requests and take full responsibility to ensure that it is actioned in a timely manner.
- Assist with telephonic and walk-in reservations.
- Administer general petty cash and float as per Finance procedure.
- General office duties including correspondence, emails, filing, switchboards.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures).
- Well-groomed and professional.
