NB THIS POSITION IS BASED IN LAGOS NIGERIA (YOU MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE)
Strategy & Planning
Deliver an Efficient Annual Business Plan to achieve the Topline target
Plan & Review the Actual Performance with the Budget on a weekly/ Monthly Basis & identify the areas / Stores which needs improvements

Financial or Cost Control

To ensure minimization of the itemized Average daily negatives to control revenue loss
To minimize shrinkage vis a viz invoicing, and ensure its updating by stock takes

Sales & Inventory
Deliver annual sales target as per business plan
Regularly review Business & work out strategies (Meeting with Buying - Stock out &Logistics)
Monitor the Business & Identify the grey areas
Identify Opportunities & Potential Threat to the business.
Ensure SOP Adherence & Process Implementation
Managing &Controlling Overhead Expenses of the Stores.
Maintaining & Monitor the Inventory of the Stores
Ensure Store Wise Stock Corrections, Periodic Dump, Shrinkage Management
Develop New Avenues for promoting the business
Develop strategy to create demand in the category to increase footfalls and grow customer base

New Store Development

People Management & Development
Identify required skills set for specific category and ensure appropriate training is given to be able to drive the sales
Efficiently coordinate and communicate category strategy & plan with relevant teams. Ensure that all members are equipped with required ammunition to deliver category mission.
Monitor hygiene, discipline, and attendance of all staff.

Periodically evaluate staff as per their KRAs, KPIs and identify areas for improvement and ensure appropriate training is given where required.

MIS / Retail Store Compliance

MIS with accuracy, timeliness, analysis and recommendation to be submitted before 3rd of every month
E.O.D (Daily Reports) - Ensure the E.O.D of the Stores are completed in stipulated time stipulated Time
Sale Returns - Refund - To Clear all the Sales Returns & also check all the Service Centre Issues
Expiry Checks - Submitting the Monthly Expiry Reports to SCM along with details of support required
R.S.P - Updating - All the prices to be updated on a daily basis

Skill Set

Able to work in fast paced environment
Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
Management skills
Good Communication Skill
Should be well informed about the current trends in the market
Should be interactive and should maintain good inter-personal relationship with co

Should be able to think out of the box, innovative, and possess problem solving ability
Ability to work with different teams with a sense of urgency, responsibility, and accountability
Ablity to identify training needs, build the team, Train & Coach teams

Experience:


  • Retail in a Supermarket: 10 years (required)
