Retail Branch Manager


We are currently seeking to employ an experienced Branch Manager to join a dynamic team at one of our Southern Suburb branches.


  • Personnel management (HR related)
  • Assisting sales staff with customer, stock or services queries
  • Ensuring the biometrics' clocking system is correct for all employees in the branch for payroll purposes
  • Liaising with buyers regarding special orders
  • Assisting sales staff and customers on the floor when needed
  • Filing and admin of the branch
  • Acting as Health and Safety Compliance Officer, specifically COVID19 procedures
  • Managing stock take and compiling related reports
  • Compiling sales reports for the branch
  • Reporting to Regional Manager regarding general performance of the branch and staff
  • Assist with onthejob training for all new personnel

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a manager in the furniture/retail industry
  • Must be prepared to work on weekends and public holidays
  • Own transport essential (might be required to travel between branches to assist when needed)
  • Must have Grade 12 / Matric
  • Clear criminal record
  • South African citizen / Permanent South African Resident
  • Reside in the Southern Suburbs

Education:


  • High School (matric) (preferred)

Experience:

Retail Manager: 5 years (preferred)


License/Certification:

  • Drivers License (preferred)
