    Job Opportunity: Public Health Advisor

    The Catholic Health Care Association of Southern Africa (CATHCA) is seeking a skilled Public Health Advisor to join our team based in Johannesburg.

    About the Role:

    • This role involves tracking and analyzing public health policies, trends, and needs to provide informed advice and support to our Executive Director.
    • You will develop training programs and learning materials to enhance the skills of our staff and partners.
    • Facilitate effective training sessions and evaluate their impact to ensure continuous improvement.
    • Participate in stakeholder forums and advocacy initiatives to strengthen our health systems.
    • Support planning, fundraising, implementation, and reporting to drive our mission forward.

    Requirements:

    • A Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health (NQF Level 8 or higher)
    • Expertise in Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), HIV/TB, and Mental Health
    • Experience in training design and facilitation
    • Knowledge of donor-funded grants
    • A valid driver's license
