    Job Description

    We are looking for a Multimedia Designer to join our agency team in Johannesburg , responsible for the execution and delivery of digital campaigns across the Nestlé account.

    The Multimedia Designer will be responsible for the conceptualisation, creation, and rollout of high-quality multimedia design campaigns for social media and digital platforms, with an emphasis on 2D animation and digital best practice.

    Specific Responsibilities:

  • Design of social media and digitally led creative, utilising animation and digital design best practices.
  • Output of files in the correct format, size (data and dimensions) with visual accuracy.
  • Execute briefs with an understanding of corporate identities, and brand specifications.
  • Set up files and artboards in a clear and methodical way.
  • Identify and flag any potential issues that may arise during the process.
  • Create presentation decks and toolkits (in Powerpoint) to capture work.
  • Capture time against completed briefs on project management software such as Chase.

    • Job Skills:

  • Mac literate.
  • Well versed in the Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Acrobat).
  • Inter-personal skills.
  • A passion for creating high quality content.
  • Strong understanding of animation and digital design practices.
  • Well versed in all major social media platforms and changing trends.
  • Agility to switch between multiple brands.
  • Ability to execute quickly in response to trending topics.
  • Strong time management and self-management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

    • Advantageous Skills:

  • Basic audio editing Adobe Audition.
  • Understanding of print and print production processes.
  • Previous experience an Advertising Agency.
