Job Title: Bookkeeper

About the Role:
Our client within the automotive industry is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless financial operations across multiple branches. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, timely reporting, and experience working in high-volume, fast-paced environments. The role is based in Bruma, Johannesburg East.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily and month-end journal entries and bank reconciliations.
• Accurately process creditors invoices and load payments on Nedbank.
• Process inter-company payments and fixed assets entries.
• Maintain 100% accuracy in capturing to general ledgers.
• Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts and address reconciling items promptly.
• Submit monthly management accounts to branches and complete variance analysis.
• Prepare daily cash flow submissions and assist with debtor and creditor tasks.
• Support branch teams with relevant queries and financial guidance.

Requirements:

• Bookkeeping or Finance related Diploma/Degree.
• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience to trial balance in a high-volume setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; Sage X3 experience is a plus.
• Valid Code 8 drivers license.

Estimated Salary: R 500,000 - R 700,000 per annum.
