HE Sales Consultant:
Gauteng
(Permanent Position)
Oxford University Press is recruiting for a dynamic and results-orientated Sales Consultant to join the Higher Education sales team to promote and sell offerings to the HE market, booksellers, and other customers to meet sales targets.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Achieve sales targets of titles and offers and increase market share.
- Understanding Oxford University Press's position in the market.
- Develop and implement yearly, monthly, and weekly sales plans for allocated territories.
- Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant working experience in sales
- Relevant National Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing or Education
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Strong negotiation skills and problem solving
- Able to maintain and foster business relationships
- Experience in publishing environment including both print and digital would be advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in data analytics and CRM
- Willingness to travel regularly
- Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle essential
