Delivering Innovative Solutions for Environmental Testing Challenges

XTEMP is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Service Engineer with a strong background in refrigeration systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a certified Refrigeration Technician with hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining refrigeration systems. Knowledge of test chambers is a strong advantage. This role requires someone who is willing to travel frequently to client sites for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Service and maintain refrigeration systems used in XTEMP's products, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards.
Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment on-site, including refrigeration systems and associated components.
Perform regular preventative maintenance and provide technical support to clients.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues with refrigeration systems and, where applicable, test chambers.
Collaborate with clients to ensure proper operation and functionality of installed equipment.
Document all service activities accurately, including repairs, replacements, and recommendations for future maintenance.
Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in refrigeration technology to provide clients with the best possible service.
Travel frequently to customer locations for on-site support, installation, and maintenance (domestic travel as required).

Qualifications:

Certified Refrigeration Technician with formal qualifications in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Minimum of 5 years' experience servicing and maintaining refrigeration systems, preferably in a technical or field service role.
Knowledge of test chambers and environmental testing equipment is a significant advantage.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with refrigeration systems, including HVAC, compressors, and cooling units.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and on-site with clients.
Willingness to travel regularly to client sites for service and maintenance work.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.
Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
