Do you have - 5 years' experience after completion of your Fitting and Turning Trade Test qualification? Excellent opportunity to join our very well-established manufacturing client in the Northern Suburbs.

Requirements:

Matric
Qualified Fitting and Turning Trade Test Certificate
25 Years after trade experience
Fabrication experience required

Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete all Fabrication Request feedback paperwork and major job requirements.
Compile SOW and Bill of Materials
Complete all TSIS and H&S paperwork.
Ensure all parts comply with procurement register and data pack report any deviations.
Ensure that all tools and equipment is available to execute task and plan a working procedure for the task

Material cutting

Proper use of bandsaw, cutoff saw, cutting torch, grinder, etc.
Mig welding: for general structures, barriers, base frames, etc.
Tig welding: for FDB baskets, soaking pipes, manifolds, tanks, etc.
Arc welding: for onsite welding, area that bigger machine cannot access.
Proper use of hand drill, magbase drill, machining machine, etc.
Finishing / Grinding remove all shape edgers, burs, welding spatter, etc. (Prep for next phase)
