Description
Payroll Clerk needed for an expanding spa chain.
Duties & Responsibilities
Process monthly and weekly payrolls.
Administer and capture leave forms.
EMP201 monthly.
EMP501 Recons
Handle UIF queries and documents.
Prepare Department of Labour inspection documents/ Bargaining Council
Prepare reconciliation documents for the SARS EMP audit.
Preparation and distribution of payslips.
Generate HR-related reports.
Maintain staff files.
Drafting staff contracts from standard templates.
Process recruitment questionnaires (no decision-making involved).
Process the onboarding and termination of employees on the payroll system.
Create employee profiles on the clocking system.
Various ad hoc admin duties.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric essential.
A relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
5 years of similar experience.
High attention to detail.
The high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
Task-driven and deadline-orientated.
Super organized.
Ability to manage complex and high-volume payrolls.
Experience with Sage Pastel is advantageous.
