Minimum requirements for the role:


  • Previous experience having sold raw materials into the manufacturing industry is essential for the role.
  • Previous experience having sold and managed clients within the food and beverage or personal care or industrial and related manufacturing markets is preferred.
  • Person must be proactive, show initiative, and be independent.
  • Team driven and a team player.
  • Must have excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Must be computer literate and numerate.
  • Managing key accounts and developing new business within the Western Cape area calling on manufacturing companies.
  • Providing customerfocused solutions of a variety of raw materials for their manufacturing plants.
  • Maintaining and growing an existing portfolio of clients within the foods and related industries with in the Western Cape.
  • Developing relationships and creating awareness about the company's product offering.
  • Maintaining an understanding of customer requirements and working towards becoming a preferred supplier.
  • Managing customer base for optimal sales revenue and volume growth.
  • Discussing and negotiating pricing to achieve targeted gross profits.
  • Establishing a comprehensive understanding of customers processes, technologies, costs, environmental pressures, TC. Leverage this knowledge to generate valueadding customer proposals.
  • Reporting on local market intelligence including competitor activity.
  • Analysing and identifying market trends.
  • Managing certain projects specific to growth areas.
**Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
