- Develop systems (in conjunction with systems engineer) to enable live tracking and reporting of production data, providing timely, accurate and meaningful insight for decision making.
- Measure production processes and present insights from data analysis to the team.
- Quantify improvement opportunities and calculate return on investment.
- Plan, prioritise and execute projects, delivering predicted value on time and in full.
- Track and demonstrate the productivity, quality and/ or financial benefit of completed projects.
- Be able to stand in as second-in-charge for the production manager.
- Industrial engineering Degree (not-negotiable)
- At least 1 year working experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manage small details without losing sight of the big picture.
- Ability to work in a team and influence others to achieve positive outcomes.
- Excellent communication: ability to communicate complex ideas in simple, clear and concise terms, both upwards to senior management and downwards to frontline workers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Strong Excel analytical skills (adding a coding language such as Python would be a plus).
- Decisive and assertive in working with and leading others to achieve successful outcomes to projects.
