Our Client, an IT company that specializes in Managed IT support and has been a hardware and software reseller trading for over 17 years, is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator for their Cape Town office.

Their diverse list of partnerships includes VMware, Veeam, Microsoft, Dell, Sophos, and Watch Guard.


Key Responsibilities:

  • A minimum of 6 years of professional IT experience.
  • Clientfacing experience or exposure to such a role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Solid Infrastructure background with a strong understanding of Windows Servers Architecture, Active Directory, DNS, Domain Policies, etc.
  • Knowledge of VMware Infrastructure.
  • Veeam Backup Exec and Backup Infrastructure skills.
  • MS Exchange Onsite Administration proficiency.
  • Firewall and Switch configuration and management (Sophos).
  • 0365 and Azure skills and experience.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

  • MS Windows Server Administration.
  • Active Directory Management and Administration.
  • Group Policies management.
  • VMware management and Administration.
  • Solid Networking and Switch and Firewall configuration skills.
  • Desired Work Experience 510 Years.
  • Must have at least A+N+ certification.
  • MCSE/VMware Administrator/Office 365 administrator certification is preferred.
  • Sophos Firewall Administration.
