    Job Title: Registered Nurse

    Trained in Adult ICU Department

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver High-Quality Patient Care: Provide nursing care according to South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH), and National Core Standards.
    • Patient Advocacy and Professional Conduct: Adhere to patient advocacy principles and professional codes of conduct.
    • Nursing Staff Supervision: Supervise and guide nursing staff to maintain quality patient care.
    • Auditing and Compliance: Participate in internal and external audits, such as DOH and National Core Standards.
    • Patient Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and medication documentation.
    • Care Plan Development: Conduct ward rounds and collaborate with medical professionals to develop and implement care plans.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Curator or Diploma in General Nursing
    • Postgraduate Diploma in Critical Nursing Science
    • Previous experience in a private hospital environment is advantageous
    • ACLS qualification is required
    • BLS / ATLS / PALS qualifications are advantageous
